1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Night of the Living Dead Hoodie Reconstruction on: January 17, 2011 06:33:24 PM
I started this hoodie Jan 1st, after a few trips to Jo-Anns I finished it on the 11th.
I had never attempted something like this before, so making the sleeves and the hood for example, was completely new.
I really like the way it turned out though!
I used an oversized Night of the Living Dead shirt and altered it by cutting off the sleeves and slicing it open on the sides.
I have green detailing on the sides, the bottom, the cuffs, and the stripe down the hood.

2  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Fine Artist on: January 07, 2011 12:58:28 PM
Hi everyone!
I just found this site about a week ago, and am very anxious to get started contributing.
I'm primarily a fine artist working with paint and charcoal.
However, I also love to sew and have been thinking of dabbling in photography and knitting.
I've started a hoodie reconstruction/construction and am almost finished.
I've got a few goals this year and one of them is to start making corsets and selling them on my etsy shoppe.
I'm so excited to be here around so many other creative people!
Happy 2011 everyone!
