Class/Challenge/House Pride: Headmistress Challenge, July
SPEW:n/a
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Bujo Cover take 2
Brief Description: My Bullet Journal Hobby is purely for myself.  I crafted a pen holder for it a week ago, but was not satisfied with it.  Yesterday I created a new one.  It works much better.  No more sliding off the journal-due to the weight of the pens and ruler.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: SoAR
SPEW: yes
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: 4 Purses for www.sewpowerful.org
Brief Description: I decided to combine the ruins of TIVAZ and DAGAZ.  I made these purses for sewpoerful.org a program that helps girls stay not miss days of school due to their period.  Volunteers make the purses and the reusable pads that go in the bags are locally made in the African village to create jobs.  This creates justice and major change for not only the girls but some of their mothers.

TIVAZ--The rune of justice and balance.
DAGAZ-- A breakthrough, new dawn or a major change of direction.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Arithmancy
SPEW: n/a
House:Hufflepuff
Project Name: BUJO cover
Brief Description: My favorite method of crafting is sewing.  I especially like making organizational items.  I made this pattern for a BUJO cover.  It helps it stay closed and keep my small ruler and a few pens handy.  The sewing end is well done.  However, the pattern needs some tweeking.  I think I will probably remake it.  The height is a bit short,  I want to be able to use the pen holders on the pen on the top edge.  I need the fabric about 1 inch taller.  I think I will make it more like a pocket to slip in the Bujo as the present cover is heavy with all the pens and slides down.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Care of Magical Creatures
SPEW: No
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Knife Case
Brief Description:  I needed a knife case to safely carry a very sharp knife to various family events.  I made a "house" shape  (It has 5 points) to have a snap down closure.  I made s heavy chipboard insert for the knife sleeve then I slip it into the case.

SPEW: n/a
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name:  Bullet Journal
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description:  I have never made a Bullet Journal before.  I have been eyeing them for a while and decided to give it a try.  To start out I made a Craftalong layout.  I am not very "artsy" in the pen, paint, etc way.  There are some things I do not like about my page.  But I will never get better at it without practice.  It took me 3 hours of researching different ideas and creating it.  Hopefully I will learn to not worry so much about it's looks- or this will not stick.

OWL Subject & Option (if available): Transfiguration option 1
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Colonial Dress
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description:  My family thought it would be fun running around like muggles in Colonial Williamsburg.  I took about 6 yards of fabric and transfigured it into a colonial times dress for my daughter.  I used Simplicity pattern 3725.  I changed the back zipper to a bunch of ties, that way hopefully it will last for a few years.  There is also a lot of fabric in the hem so I can let it out.
I did not see my name on the list- for reference I proposed it on April 2nd last term.

Also in the picture are the Drop front britches I made last quarter.  My son also made his frontier style shirt himself- his first sewing project Smiley
