1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Baby Bender on: September 30, 2014 02:50:57 PM
I made this hoop for milkeway for the recent tv/movie swap. In all the hoops I have made this is the first one I have ever done in satin stitch and long and short stitch. It was very time consuming, but I am happy with how it turned out!

2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Wilderness Explorers hoop on: September 16, 2014 03:00:18 PM
I made this hoop for Elameno for the Disney swap. She loves the little Wilderness Explorer boy in the movie Up! and so I created this hoop based on the patch on his uniform. I used felt and embroidery floss. I also had a little bit of ribbon with trees on it so I thought that would be a cute touch as the hanger.

I made this magnet for Elameno in the Disney swap. She loves the art of Mary Blair who designed the concept art for the It's a Small World ride. I used Sharpie and colored pencils on Shrinky Dink plastic.

7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Chibi Disney Villains on: June 27, 2013 09:19:37 AM
I cross stitched this for catnip cookie! in the latest Disney swap. She said she like things that were gothic and cute at the same time so I thought this was perfect. The pattern came from cloudsfactory on etsy.

From left to right: Evil Queen, Cruella De Ville, Ursula, Maleficent, and the Queen of Hearts

8  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Snow White and the Evil Queen stencil on: June 27, 2013 09:12:51 AM
I made this shirt for catnip cookie! for the latest Disney swap. I used this super cute picture of Snow White to make a freezer paper stencil.

It turned out so well and then I found a picture of the Evil Queen

and I stenciled that on the back of the shirt.

This was my first time doing freezer paper stenciling and I am hooked! The only thing I didn't like was cutting the stencil with a x-acto knife. Very tedious!

9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Are you a good witch or a bad witch? on: May 11, 2013 09:09:50 AM

I made this hoop for VegasZombie in the Wizard of Oz swap. The pattern came from Cherry and Cinnamon on Etsy. Thanks for looking!
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Maryland Blue Crab Hoop on: May 11, 2013 09:05:31 AM

This is a hoop I made for Glamis in the Sea Creature Swap. Blue crabs are a big deal where I'm from so I thought it would be neat to stitch one up. I colored it with crayons. Thanks for looking!
