21  Rainbow Tentacle ear stretcher in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Genkii_x on: July 10, 2012 01:45:27 PM
Been dying to make one of these for a long time.
I've got a slight creepy obsession with tentacles, why? I'm not entirely sure.
So i grabbed my clay, a tunnel and made a stretcher as close to the gauge side that i could.
Turned out not too bad for a first attempt, excuse the dirt, i was too excited to test it out and accidentally dropped it..
Considering making some fake-gauged ones too. All my other bits and pieces are scattered about Craftster and facebook if anyone wishes too have a wee snoop.

All ideas and requests are welcome, would love to give some new ideas a shot Smiley

* Just a wee warning for folks, polymer clay isn't the safest material for jewellery, most places advice against, i wear mines through silicon plugs at the moment so it's not directly on my skin. All my pieces are given a thick layer of gloss as well, to help seal the clay (and in some cases colour) in.

23  "Magic" Mushies Rainbow Charms in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Genkii_x on: July 02, 2012 03:57:04 PM
Well, not actually mushrooms, more toadstooly, but still Smiley
Made them previously on my Super Mario bracelet, Can't beat a little rainbow of fungi..or a lot. Hehe.
These have still to be baked and glossed before being put onto a wee silver chain like my other cutesy charm bracelets.
Whatchas think?. Any suggestions or requests for other mini-makes are welcome. Would love to give them a go ^_^

I'll update with a newer picture once they're all finished

Sorry if i'm spamming yous here, but i've a rare occurance of spare time, so i'm making the most of it while i've got it!.
Here's some more wee charmies i've been making, again gamer themed, 'cause i'm a massive geek Tongue

This time round it is - Yoshi eggs and Pokeballs!.
Only made 8/26 pokeballs, but hoping to finish the rest of over the next few days.
(I have a short attention span, and they're pretty fickle to make)

Hope yous like, comments/crits welcome Smiley
I know they're rushed, need a gloss and the white is  abit mucky. Just wee prototypes.

27  Cute resin pendants/ornaments in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Genkii_x on: June 05, 2012 04:30:01 PM
Been dying to give this a go for a long time!
Now that college is over with for the summer i've finally had time to sit back and chill with a bit of craftiness.

The bottom left is very special to me, as i've mixed in some cuttings of my Dads hair, who unexpectedly passed away suddenly in December.
Sister says i'm creepy..but it allows me to carry a little piece of him everywhere with me as a pendant <3

Any suggestions or ideas are welcome, love to play with new ideas Smiley

28  Updated!: Geekery Gamer charms/pendants in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Genkii_x on: June 05, 2012 04:22:48 PM
Been asked recently by a few sources to throw together some stock examples, so here a few i done tonight.
Nothing better than a bit of gamer geekery <3
Too sleepy to write much of a interesting story here.
If anyone has any ideas they'd want me to have a go at, gimme' a shout.
Love to play with new ideas
Note: These have still to be baked, but decided using the oven is this sleepy state would not be wise.

29  Monster car plush ccompanion in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Genkii_x on: June 05, 2012 02:53:02 AM
Not posted here in a while, been awfully busy with college and work.
But, that's college over for the summer. One year left 'till i can proudly say i have a BA Art and Design Degree.

Anyway. Onto the craftiness.
I got my first wee car in January, with thanks to my Uncle who flew over from Australia, after my Dad had suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in December Sad
It's taken until now for me to get around to customizing the wee thing that has been nicknamed "Brum"
So, first stop has been to make one off my wee Monsters to accompany on my journeys.

This is what i came up with. Green, Black and Purple = Favourite colour scheme!.

P.s. Is it legal? and will anything get choked or broken with this wee guy here?. Will be gutted if i have to take it off.

Next up: Seat-belt covers and a mini air-freshener fluff-ball!
Any other Car-Crafts let me know! Would love to have a go!

30  First attempt at painting in year - Birds in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Genkii_x on: April 06, 2012 06:42:45 AM
So, these are my first attempts at painting properly since high school '09.
Two requests from pals for tattoos to get a idea for colour (and to see if i could still paint/Draw!), just to re-stylise them now so they can book the tatts' tomorrow Smiley
Each piece took little over a hour as i'd given myself a time limit, hence they're not properly finished.

Excuse the poor quality photos, theyre a bit dull and lifeless as my camera was not behaving itself

What do yous think?

Edited: If anyone has any requests, feel free to ask, i'd love to give them a go Smiley
