1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Welcome to Night Vale on: February 26, 2015 12:58:06 AM
I'm happy to organise it - it wouldn't be my first time, I was just commenting that I was happy to let someone else do it if people felt uncomfortable with me having been gone so long.

Now I have a new awesome thing to do with my free time. I just need to find some free time, actually.

That's the great thing about podcasts - you can listen to them while doing almost anything except sitting in class or sleeping.

I'm hoping to drum up interest in a Welcome to Night Vale swap, but if there aren't many other Listeners out there I might join this instead. Because yay for new fandoms!

Would anyone be interested in a WTNV swap? Because of the creators request for fans not to sell fan art, it's hard to get hold of things you can't make yourself, and a swap would be the perfect way to get around that. Is the fandom big enough to have a following here yet?

I could organise, but I've been off Craftster and not swapping for a decent amount of time last year due to RL, so I'm perfectly happy if people would prefer someone else taking the reins on this one. I just want to get loads of cute purple goodies and share the NV love.

I have missed way too many pages to try and catch up - maybe after next weekend, but for now I am still in con preparation mode.

I just wanted to poke my head in and say that

I used my hot glue gun!

Yes, after amassing three(!) of them, I finally used one for the first time ever. And I didn't burn myself! I did get big gobs of glue and string all over the place, but I'm hoping I can sand those off some how. Would be venturing into some 'plastic weld' putty too, but apparently the sort I bought needs gloves, and I don't have any  Roll Eyes

Very cute!

And Is that a Sydney picture I spy on the back wall? Dare I suggest another Aussie?

This is a lot harder than I imagined. I'll just make these things first and put the rest of the list up later on.

Some of us don't make much of a list to start with, we just list things we've done as we go. Either way is ok - there aren't many rules in this thread.

Someone better be making a Yo-Dog project or else we are way off topic here... Grin...

We keep talking about it much longer and we'll ALL end up making a Yo-Dog project. I'm thinking of doing a run of ATCs.

oh Bunny that is awesome!!! My oldest son wear that and he is 26  Cheesy

Pfft, I'D wear that. (And I'm pushing 33)!

Thanks, guys!  Grin

He's 7, so --- so far, his Star Wars dog cast is kind of unoriginal. Like, Dog Skywalker and Dogga the Hut.  Luke Dogwalker has some possibilities, and I might be able to convince him that Jabba the Hound would work better....  Wink  He'll get there!

What about Chew-barker?
Princess Leasher?

I did some drops today, a few of the bunnies, and a little hand made book I made that had a cute quote in it. I will share photos, but my internet is so slow right now that I may as well wait for tomorrow, because they wouldn't finish uploading before then anyway. Curse the after dinner internet crowd!
