Class: Charms - Produce a project inspired by water.
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Water drop necklace
Brief Description: I was practicing my augamenti charm this morning when I accidentally directed the jet of water over a spider's web. Fortunately the spider wasn't annoyed and informed me that she had been planning to make a new web anyway, so I used an immobulus charm to freeze part of the web and turned it into a necklace. It reminds me of the way rain drops settle on spiderwebs Smiley

Class: Potions - Create something that helps you remember.
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Byzantine Knot Bracelet
Brief Description: Since next week is my last week ever at muggle school before I go to university in September, I wanted to craft something that would help me to remember all the fun experiences I had and the amazing people I met whilst in school. However, I wanted it to be quite subtle as I already have all the usual leavers items - hoodie, yearbook and so on, so I made this. It's a byzantine knot bracelet with 7 knots, each knot is to help me remember both one year spent in school and one of my closest friends.

3  Periodic Table Cake in Dessert by Sinead.B on: February 18, 2011 12:32:49 PM
Every Friday my chemistry class has something we like to call "Chocolate Friday", where we take it in turns to bring in either cake or chocolate for the class. Usually, people just buy food, but I decided to do something different, so I made a periodic table cake Grin
A photo in the lab:

A photo at home with less glare:

It's nothing special, just a sponge cake with a layer of buttercream icing, a layer of royal icing and then chocolate icing for decoration, but I'm quite proud of how it turned out Smiley
Thanks for looking,
Sinead
