2  Old School (Finished!) in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by iblolyvr on: November 24, 2004 06:49:43 PM
im making this in stained glass for my brother, its not done yet but i brought it home to work on over the long weekend. there will be a coin above mario and luigi, and the rest will be filled in with mirror with a large mirror piece in the middle then blue or red mirror around the outside egdes and the middle edges.

its bub and bob from bubble bobble, kirby, mario and luigi, link and the red thing (shrug) from the original legend of zelda EDIT: ive been informed its an Octorok. :>

its 18"x18" and the border is 3"

i had to cut all the tiles myself, used a strip cutter to makes strips of the glass then used a mosiac nipper to make the tiles

its all glass just glued down with craft glue, the glass that isnt the characters is just mirror glass, im going to use the same thing but blue around the outsides. then, havent gotten that far in class but ill grout it and i think thats it.

that much has taken about 3 weeks (that is of course by my class schedule having the class mon/wed/fri for 2 hours and a couple 4 day weekends)
