That is adorable!!!!
We've had a BC for almost 15 yrs.  My 18 yr old has been taking lots of pictures of her and spending as much time as she can because she says she's preparing herself for 'that time'.  It is hard for all of the kids to imagine life without her because most of them can't remember not having her tagging along.  But it seems to be hardest for her.  I am getting this pattern.  Her birthday is coming up and I think this would be something she would treasure.
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Ear flap hat tutorial on: March 13, 2011 01:17:31 PM
I just wanted to say thanks.  Just before Christmas I found this tutorial post and used it not only to knit my first hat but I also learned how to knit in the round to make this.  I had found patterns online but did not understand them as I had never followed a knitting pattern before.

My 10 yr old wanted one of these hats but we couldn't find the exact colors he wanted.  I borrowed some needles from my  mom, bought the colors he liked and .....a dozen or so hats later I am a confirmed hat knitting addict.

Hi everyone.  I am still very new to knitting and had joined this site in December but didn't make it back til now.  Someone had posted an earflap hat tutorial here, I followed it to make a Christmas present and have officially become a hat knitting addict.  Smiley
Looking forward to learning more and sharing what I can.
