1  Re: why are all baby sweaters on size 3!!! in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by kashmir on: April 06, 2005 10:17:29 AM
I made this...http://www.arcadiaknitting.com/projbaby.htm
It uses size 5 needles and goes very fast...also it's knit in one piece so you only have to sew up underarm seams!!! yay I hate sewing up seams...here's a pic of my finished sweater (the links pic isn't that great)

2  Re: come one! come all! post pics of your tattoos! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by kashmir on: April 06, 2005 09:46:39 AM
so I just noticed this post and browsed through all 25 pages of it!! Everybody has great tats! After seeing everyone else's I just HAD to post a pic of my one and only (totally relate to the no money to support my habit thing! Smiley ) anyway the pics are crappy because all I have at school is a webcam but here's a few pics of mine....

it doesn't mean anything it's just a design I drew up...my next one is going to be either a celtic knot or cross (when i can afford it of course!) hope everyone likes!

3  Re: YARN DYEING 101 - KOOL AID in Dyeing: Completed Projects by kashmir on: March 08, 2005 06:36:49 AM
my sisters and I did this in the fall and it's a lot of fun to do....we're all in our 20's and I felt like a little kid doing it because we couldn't wait to see what the colors turned out to be like....I think we tried just about every color kool aid we could find  Grin

we used lionbrand wool at the time because my sister was big into felted bags, she ended up making my other sister and I felted bags with the koolaid yarn....we  were a little unsure if the process would prevent it from felting but it didnt....here's a picture of the bag she made me. I absolutely love it!!

So I finally finished this scarf that I had started at christmas and I love it!! These pictures don't show the color well at all, it looks very red when it's really a bright pink  Sad oh well....at least I'm able to post pics of it.

5  my first post...a few FO's in Knitting: Completed Projects by kashmir on: March 02, 2005 03:43:42 PM
so I probably am doing this wrong, but it's my first post...I've been reading everyone elses posts for awhile now and I just want to say great job to everyone and their work!! Here's a hat I finished recently for my bf, he wanted orange in it so I went to the thrift store and bought a little kids sweater and took it apart for the orange yarn. It was so cheap and really easy to do I recommend doing this if you only need small amounts of yarn or if you find a neat sweater.....and the baby sweater was my first attempt ever at a sweater. I have to admitt I'm pretty proud of myself it turned out really well. It still has no buttons because I'm waiting to hear if it's going to be a boy or a girl. Smiley
