1  Undies and Boxers in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by dfabbric on: March 20, 2017 10:22:29 AM

I've started making some undies and boxers for my family. I love them, they are so comfortable and fast to make.
They are easy to modify to any style. You can make them with or without elastic and the top undies are boy short style, where the lower pic shows a regular brief style.
Also it's not so easy to find fun undies in the styles you want.
I am looking forward to making more, I don't think I will ever buy any undies or boxers again.

2  Harry Potter Robe in Costumes: Completed Projects by dfabbric on: March 19, 2017 01:59:40 PM

After we went to Universal studios, my daughter wanted a Harry Potter robe. So I made this using some really cool Harry Potter fabric for the lining. I had some issues with the embroidery, but overall I really like it. It's a bit big as well but should fit a long time. Don't mind my daughter, she's 1/8th Anime on my side.

3  Harry Potter Spell Pants in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by dfabbric on: March 16, 2017 04:09:47 PM

Just finished these Knit pants for my daughter. They were so fast to make with nice big pockets. The fabric has Harry Potter magic spells on it, I got it for cheap since some spells are misspelled. We aren't obsessed enough to be bothered here.

4  Gold Leather Sublime Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by dfabbric on: March 06, 2017 02:44:30 PM

I just finished this purse from the Bag of the Month Club. It's Feb's bag. It was fairly easy to make. I used Gold leather, and I quite enjoyed working with leather. It's so soft. I also really love the minnie fabric I used with metallic accents. I wanted to add something extra, so I put the Mice kissing bow on, but might switch it out for just a pink bow. Im not sure yet. I put pink for the lining. I find when you use lighter colours for purse linings, its easier to see inside and find stuff.

5  Knit fabric covered sketchers in Shoes: Completed Projects by dfabbric on: March 06, 2017 12:22:42 PM

I bought a very plain pair of grey walking sketchers so I could cover them with fabric. They turned out great and were fairly easy to do. The knit definitely made it easier, since I was able to pull the fabric a bit if I cut a mm too small.

I put a bit more detail here

6  Floral Wars Clover convertible bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by dfabbric on: January 23, 2017 09:35:05 PM

This is January's bag in the bag of the month club. It was a little difficult and I made some mistakes. I love the way it looks,  but found out the style just doesn't work for me and i can't stand using it. I might have to try and modify it into something a bit smaller that I will use.  I'm not sure yet since it's a bit lunch boxish, but I'm open for ideas.
The fabric is a hard to get custom printed limited run from Knitorious,  it's the kind of shop that is only open for a week every two months or so.

8  Harry Slother Plush in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by dfabbric on: August 14, 2016 03:12:52 PM

Here is my Harry Slother plush.
I made him with a Sloth ITH pattern from Dolls and Daydreams. I believe she has a regular sewing pattern for him too.
I used Cabbage rose Minky which isn't the funnest. I think I should wear a mask next time so my nose doesnt get so itchy.
The Harry Potter glasses and scar are a separate machine embroidery design I got on Etsy as well as the tie. And I hand knit his scarf.
Hope you like him, we was fun to make.
