1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Grim Reaper.. First Amigurumi on: October 17, 2011 02:27:56 PM
OK so this is my first Amigurumi, after starting crocheting about a month ago.
He's an adorable (if I do say so myself) Grim Reaper.

Watch out fishies...

The pattern was a book I picked up on Amazon called Creepy Cute Crochet by Christen Haden. Its pretty good if you already know your stitches and I was happy with it for my first book (and the first pattern I followed).
Next on my list is the Ninja  Grin

Hope you guys like it

2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / 16 yr old Guy Friend. on: September 15, 2005 11:12:07 AM
Hey. I know it's a lil ealry for Xmas presents, but this is the first year I'm making all my gifts. I'm a little stumped on my guy friend. I guess you could say he's more like the brother i never had. It's definitely only friendship, so I don't want anything too... soppy. I don't want to make  a CD, as hes not really musical. I have absolutely no idea what to do. He doesnt wear jewellery or anything... I'm really stumped. I'm also not very advanced, only a beginner crafter Tongue Any help would be appreciated, I know it's a little vague... Sorry.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Reconstruction Help.. Please! on: June 27, 2005 09:08:24 AM
I'm a long time lurker on Craftster, & am about to attempt my first reconstructions. The only problem is; the tutorial for a halter that I was going to use was from ohmystars.net, but the site is down for bandwidth!

I was wondering if somebody had a simple, preferably no-sew, or hand sew-possible tutorial for converting a tee to a halter.

Thanks Smiley
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Mannequins & Dummies on: May 08, 2005 07:13:11 AM
I've seen some really cool duct-tape dummies, but I'm not a big fan of the ole duct-tape tutorials, mainly because they require another person. I'd love a tailor's dummy, kinda the top half of a body. I was just wondering if anybody knew of another way to make my own, other than the many duct-tape tutorials?

Thanks, and sorry if this isnt the right place to post.
