1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Help with a bead pattern on: July 10, 2010 01:22:19 PM
So i haven't post anything here on craftster in a loooooong time, and normally just spend my days looking around here, but i have a problem that i am hoping someone might be able to help me with.

i had this beaded headband, but it was really really old (i got it from a teacher about 10 years ago, and she had had it for who knows how long), and the elastic was super super worn out. to the point that i couldn't use it as a headband because it kept falling off my head. so i had a brilliant idea that i could buy some elastic, take the headband apart and redo it.

i took some pictures, studied the headband, and then cut it apart. only now i can't get it back together!!

after searching online, i found this: http://beadwork.about.com/library/weekly/aa070698.htm, but i can see it's not the same pattern. i'm trying to find the exact pattern, so that i can use all the beads, and it will be about the same size it was before (it fit my head perfectly before the elastic died)

does anyone have any ideas on how i can recreate my headband? i really love it, and would love any help you can give me!
