21  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: The Last Tsars on: November 22, 2012 11:33:02 PM
I have finally obtained a full-length shot. ;o) So if you look at the original post, I've edited it to add a picture of me wearing the complete costume, head to (almost) toe.

Thanks for adding that -- truly beautiful, I'm just out of words for how fantastic this is.

I put my big Ho in the corner because I'm at a tedious part that I don't want to do.

And it's not really procrastinating if you're finish a small HO, right?

[both small hos finished... so I guess posting here is the real procrastination Cheesy ]

In all my planning of the big HO, it never occurred to me that I obviously needed to make a thingamajazzy or else where was I going to put the flippityflom? DOH!

Construction of thingamajazzy in progress. I may have to get out the gorilla glue.

Thank you for posting this -- I ordered a couple of those tins (the square ones) right after your first post, but I hadn't gotten around to doing anything with them and this will be a help.

Yeah, doesn't clicking the "notify" button work?

Yes it does.  Grin

[Note to self: when it's time to ship, small HO #1 is stored in the toolbox on top of the drill press.]

Freaking fantastic and absolutely immediately recognizable as "the Ring."  Great job!

Mr. Jivvy and I were both sick this year, so no handing out candy for us, but I believe if we had these marvelous pumpkins for inspiration, we would have made the effort -- I love their distinct personalities and their wonderfully vintage look.  We've a front stoop with several steps and I would have been proud to have such pumpkins greeting all the trick-or-treaters.

That is just absolutely lovely -- quite elegant for a Halloween pillow!
