21  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Ruffle Bib shirt made from a men's xl t-shirt on: August 18, 2011 01:26:53 PM
That's really great. I really must find the time to revamp a t-shirt like this. I love the added detail of the heart-shaped buttons.

I have to admit that I have never seen any of the Star Wars films, but these are bursting with character and made me laugh out loud. Brilliant.

25  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Re: Simple Garden Faerie Spiral on: August 18, 2011 01:15:47 PM
I agree, I prefer yours. It's got a lot more character. I doubt the faerie folk would have been too impressed if you'd come up with something too "perfect". And you get to watch as it grows into your garden. Lovely.

I like the fact that you managed to subtly incorporate her age into the muddler, so she'll always be able to remember when you gave it to her.

That's lovely, a really unusual and eye-catching design. I like the fact that it's based on a real life-preserver.
