1  Mr Tumble bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by tentbruiser on: December 25, 2011 09:47:41 AM
I made this as a Christmas present for my niece. She adores Mr Tumble, a character from a children's program over here in Britain called "Something Special". He carries a yellow spotty bag around with him as a sort of signature item. Unfortunately it's impossible to find bags like these for sale, so I made one.

It's based on the bag in the Simplicity pattern no.5284. I hope she likes it.

2  Sunny Purple necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by tentbruiser on: May 15, 2011 10:36:05 AM

This is a purple necklace that I made with rather a lot of seed beads & some silver smiling suns that were lying forlornly in the bottom of one of my drawers.

3  A duo of beaded barrettes in Beads: Completed Projects by tentbruiser on: April 11, 2011 01:14:17 PM
My mum bought me a bag of plain barrettes for my birthday. I've just completed these two:

They're done in square stitch to my own design. Unfortunately the purple beads don't show up well in the photo.

(The best bit is the fact that I've still another 8 clips left to design & make  Smiley)

4  Snowflakes, beaded napkin rings in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by tentbruiser on: March 18, 2011 09:12:11 AM
Here are a couple of photos of the napkin rings that I made for my grandparents as a Christmas present this year:

The top picture shows the full design nicely. My idea was just to make a simple, quick present for the two of them (that Gran wouldn't have to dust).
How wrong that idea was! I am not a very quick beader, and each napkin ring is made up of approximately 1,800 beads. They took hours...

Luckily Gran & Grandad liked them
