1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: Wool Felt Valentines on: February 05, 2011 03:27:03 PM
I love the heart stitch! Besides the envelopes being adorable already, the heart stitch just takes the cake!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Wool sweater into fuzzy mittens! on: December 18, 2010 10:34:42 PM
Ohh! I should have saved the sweater I "destroyed" when I accidentally machine washed it! *double face-palm* I can't wait to get my hands on another sweater to try this! It's been a cold winter where I am!

Hehe! These are so cute! I remember making all kinds of clothes (and underwear too!) for my stuffed animals when I was younger.

These are so cute! I made some last year for gifts and everyone loved them! I really like your idea of putting the smaller pattern inside to give it some strength. Mine were kind of floppy. Yours are awesome!

Thank you! I was going to try stuffing them with a little bit of batting (well, cotton balls, hehe), but decided the limbs were too thin and that it probably wasn't worth the trouble.

What a great gift and inexpensive, too!

Yeah! Thank you! Being a college student = appreciating inexpensive and DIY. Tongue
