1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / What technique should I use for this? on: December 15, 2010 01:38:54 PM
Hey everyone! I hope I'm posting this in the right place, though this subforum seems to get let hits than the other Image Reproduction ones. Anyway.

I have a simple-ish design that I need to get onto a t-shirt. It's four words or so. Basically, I'm trying to do one of those "John&Paul&Ringo&George" type of tees (with different names, obviously). I'd ideally like to use a black tee, but it's okay if it has to be white. Transfer paper (in my experience) doesn't last very long before fading a bit, and I'm terrible with stencils (not to mention I don't think the font I need works with my poor skills!). I was wondering what technique I should use? I was pondering maybe acetone transfer, but will it fade? I've looked around and I see it done mostly with "vintage" looking designs to begin with.

Thanks everyone!
