1  UNITED STATES / Colorado / NEW to sewing and this site!! Need help:0 on: December 14, 2010 03:37:18 PM
I have several shirts that I'd like to try and modify in various ways. I don't know what the best way to do it is at all!! I need to make some longer, some wider in the body and the sleeves, and some have rhinstone thingys that need to be replaced! I want to learn how to do this myself so I can do it in the future as well, that's why I don't want to take anything in to be professionally done. I need to know if the material matters, if the colors matter, even if the thread matters. And where to go to purchase all of the items! And probably if I need certain basics on hand all the time! I do know how to sew, a little. I can sew holes in things, repair seams-kind of, and put on patches, but that's about it! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you all for your time! Smiley
