The mannequin is slightly larger than me, so the dress doesn't look like it fits right. No worries, it was made for me, not the mannequin.
Recently, I have decided to create a few Lolita dresses. The prices of some I had found online were.....out of budget.

Added sleeves. Okay, more like straps.
Added lace to the front two seams.
Added lace at the bottom (hardest part)
Zipper in the back.
And made two small bows to put at the top of the lace. The bow on the left side of the dress (right in the picture) is uneven, but that's because the strap was sewn off center of the front seam, but I was too lazy to fix it when I finished.

I got this pretty lace at JoAnn's. It was perfect. I had to keep walking back and forth deciding whether or not to get it.

It's not a very neat bow, but my long hair usually covers it. Plus, you can't tell from far away.



I used a cheap petticoat from Hot Topic.





Anyway, this was so much fun (and easy!) to make, and I plan on making more in different colors/styles.

At an estate sale, there was a closet FULL of yarn and a box overflowing with knitting needles and crochet hooks. I filled a crate with some expensive looking yarn and a bag of embroidery thread, and the woman only charged me $20. I used the embroidery thread to make these tiny keychains.



This small cluster of grapes is only 1 1/4 inches tall. (3 cm)




This tiny strawberry comes in at 3/4 an inch! (About 1 1/2 cm)





This delicious cupcake is 1 1/2 inches tall. (A little over 3 cm)





This small mocha, or latte, or ....whatever you want to call it is 3/4 and inch tall. ( About 1 1/2 cm)





And last, but not least, this heart is almost 1 1/2 inches tall. (About 3 1/2 cm at the longer hump)



I had to make the jump rings, because I'm too lazy to buy some.

But now I've run out of ideas!! Any would be appreciated. =D

I'm really into little things, and I've had ideas in my head about houses that I've drawn (whole scenes). I combined the two, and BAM. Time crochet scene.

The little flowers are all roses crocheted with sewing thread and a VERY tiny hook.(Again, sorry about the blur.)

Here's the "garden walk". The stones were made by lots of knots to make each one different.

The fountain. Now, because of the DOF problem and the "flowing water", I couldn't get any good pics.


This picture doesn't give it justice. I only used two different colors of yarn, and three different colors of sewing thread for the water.

Kinda reminds of a Dr.Seuss fountain...

The house is about an inch and a half. The fountain, two and a half. Radius of the "grass" part is two inches.
I may add more to it. Including, a forest, elven village, and a castle!

This took.......10 minutes? Anyway, I've had this idea in my head for a while now and when I saw the contest, I decided to go on and make it. I used Red Heart Super Saver for the actual necklace, Vanna's Choice (plum) for the purple circle in the pendant, and 26 gauge wire for the wire part.

Hooks used: H(5.00mm), K(6.50mm)

sc- single crochet
sk-skip

Using H(5.00mm) hook...
-Ch 56
-Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 16 sts
*ch 5, sk 3, sc in next st*, repeat from * once, ch 7, sk 5, sc in next st, repeat from * to * twice. Fasten off.
-Join yarn in 3rd ch of a 5ch loop, ch 7, sc in 3rd ch of next 5ch loop, ch 9, sc in 4th ch of 7ch loop, ch 9, sc in 3rd ch of 5ch loop, ch 7, sc in 3rd ch of 5ch loop. Fasten off.
-Join yarn in the 4th ch of a 7ch loop, ch 9,  sc in 5th ch of 9ch loop, ch 11, 1 sc in 5th ch of 9ch loop, ch 9, sc in 4th ch of the last 7ch loop. Fasten off.

Using 26 gauge wire and K(6.50mm) hook....

-ch 2, 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook
-2 sc in each st
Fasten off and press wire so it lays flat and push together to make it more of a circle if it came out weird like mine. You don't want a big hole in the middle, so push it together if you have that.

For the purple part, I used a(an?) H(5.00mm) hook and repeated what I did for the wire part and sewed it together.

Add a button hole at one end of the necklace by pulling a piece of yarn through and tying the end so there's a tiny gap for a button. Sew the button to the other end of the necklace.

I saw the other forum on this and tried to make one myself. The first result is crap.
But the second attempt is a WIP. I ran out of yarn...
Of course I HAD to make a small face...
And a girl to go with him... But she looks more like a square emoticon.

I might make a bag with little faces. =P

First off, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I love video games, especially Legend of Zelda, but since Mario is better...pixely, I made a Mario pillow. I'm terrible at sewing, so you can see where the pieces were sewn together and the seam is...visible...Anyw ay, I've gotten a lot of compliments on this thing; even my brother said I was getting better! Now I need to work on sewing....

I decided to use some black yarn I had randomly found to crochet a rose, but I ran out halfway. I have some blue baby yarn that has been wasting space for a loong time, even though I had used it a ton, so I decided it would look nice...









 Personally, I really like the way this turned out. If you want to pattern, all you have to do is ask. I'd LOVE to see someone make one, just because I know it'd be so much better. I plan on making more, but I have too many other things going on right now...
