1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Red Angry Bird on: November 05, 2012 03:29:22 PM
Following the currenly crochet obsession, my dad told me he wanted a red Angry Bird, and yesterday i finally did it. I thought it was going to be more difficult to make, because of the little parts like the eyes, the beak and the eyebrowns, but it was pretty simple and i made it in just one day. The size is 8cm high.

Coming soon.....a pokemon who's not helping to get finished, by having a couple of ears and a tail so damn difficult to start

2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Amigurumi Ninja on: June 18, 2012 04:21:02 PM

The last few weeks, a friend and i have been kind of obsessed with Crochet, and we downloaded a really cute book called 'Creepy Cute Crochet', where they teach you how to make little stuffed characters, like vampires, zombies, cthulhu, etc...and a friend has his birthday tomorrow, so i make this Ninja for him, a little personalized.

Btw, when i was reading about Amigurumi, some concepts called my atention (japanesse stuff always do, jeje).
Usually, the believes are bound to friendship, company, and even good luck charms.

''Beyond the decorative use or toy, the amigurumi objective is to feed the inner child we all have inside. According to the believe, every amigurumi has a 'soul', becoming it en a companion and confident of his owner for life , giving him protection and comfort, in moments of stress and sadness.''

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / First Bluse from scratch!! on: July 08, 2011 12:05:59 PM
OMG..My first real bluse...not a reconstruction...made from scratch!!!!!

It turns out that i bought some cute fabric, and my mom saw it and said 'omg, i want a bluse with that', and...what can i do if my mom ask me that......so i start to ramdomly do some measures, and like 2 hours later, this came out!!!

I know, is so simple, but its my first one!!! So im happy Cheesy

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Old-Shirts Patchwork Pillow on: July 03, 2011 04:23:39 PM
I had this two shirts that i adore of a clouple of my favorite characters:Jack Skellington y Stewie Griffin. But when the time of 'it doesnt fit me anymore' comes, and im so tired of modificate them 'cause it just doesnt look that good anymore (the shirts pic are old, before the recon desaster), nad you dont want to give them away, what better way tohave them close than.......IN A PILLOW!!!!

So, i google some stuff, and i realize i always wanted to do some patchwork, and it doesnt look complicated, but it takes a LOT of time, because of all the little squares, but well.......here it is ...my new Pillow!!! Cheesy

6  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Shoes Reconstruction!! on: June 05, 2011 08:40:37 PM
I had a pair of boots, that...i liked them, but i was so in love with a high knee boots, and my wallet was so empty, that i decided to cut off my old boots, and just turn them into knee high ..

This was in december, like 6 months ago..so i cant remmember where i saw the tutorial of how to do that, but i know i saw it first here on Crafster!!

Ok, this is how it turn out....the laces are not there, because in my city is like imposible to find 4 mts laces...one of the reasons why i just wear them once...on 2010 christmas..

This is me...with my boots...on christmas

And this is how they looked before i ruined them...

Well..this was an AWESOME experience...but i have to say, that you need a lot of shoemaker tools to have a real pair of wearable recon shoes............and thats why, in like 15 days..my new converse knee high boot are going to come to me!!!!!! muajajaja
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Cool Cracky Effect with Eggsshel on: May 05, 2011 07:21:06 PM
I saw this effect on a show from Utilisima (a latinamerican crafts-or-kind-of channel)

We Need:

-Paint of your choise
-Surface of choise (can be almost anything...on the show, they decorate a flower vase, so pick your thing)
-And some music or show to watch while you work...jeje (i was watching House MD, 6 season Cheesy)

Ok, so...First of all, obviously, you have to wash the eggshell...take off the thin skin on the inside...to do that, you put them under water like 10 minutes, and start to pull away that skin...and when you finish, let the eggshells get dry...im sorry i dont haver pics of that...i totally forgot....

Now...clean your surface, and put some glue on it...then crack the eggshell and push it to crack it more on the glued surface....

When you're done, it has to look like this...if is not, dont worry...this is art, and you can make it the way you want Cheesy

Then, is the fun part.....haha, what am i saying..this is all fun!!! jeje......Let's Paint!!!!!

Try to cover all the little corners...

The last step is a second paint, but this time...its like water with a drop of pain....because this is for the background, to make it darker, and make some depht effect..
This watery paint is in ALL the surfacer and eggshells, but try to put some more on the cracks...then youll have that darker effect....Also if you want the background on other color, you paint the surface before to start pasting the eggshells (you can paint this ones before put them on the glue)
Here's mine...my camera is not that nice with my crafts, but you can see the cool effect we get!!

Use your imagination..this depends of what you want, or need...Make it and show me..i would love to see your work!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
8  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Scary Jewlery Hanger Tree on: March 08, 2011 09:46:04 PM
Ok, this was py secret project for a while...its not completely finished (nothing is..jeje) but here it is...enjoy and i hope you to get inspired Cheesy

This is how i begun...with a sketch that ends in somewhere of my room, next with newspaper and wire to hang it out and take the form that i wanted...

Then, came the Polymer Clay...here i use it cold, 'cause i dont really know how to use the one which has to be baked......this took me yearssss (not really, like 2 months, but is just because im toooo lazy, jeje)
Ohh..btw, i made the graves with industrial paperboard (carton industrial), but with the polymer, the kind of..get curvy  Undecided

And the almost end was this, with paint and all that....it looks like empty, uhh?

And here it is!!!!!! Holding all my accesories and stuffs....its easier to find them this way Cheesy
