1  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Pizzelle overload! on: December 14, 2010 03:31:31 PM
Great idea for Christmas!  The best part is you can package them up as gifts like you did and I'm sure you'll have plenty of fans!

Here is a good video I found on Ehow showing how to make lemon zest pizelles.

2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Two new papercuttings: Mothers and Winnie the Pooh on: December 14, 2010 03:13:22 PM
You've given me some great ideas Eakarink - though I'll probably choose some simpler designs.  The great part about paper cutting is that if you get a great message or design together (like your Winnie the Pooh) half your work is already done.

That's a great project idea Urban for any special occasion.  The best part is it makes a great gift without having to spend 100 hours on the project.  Half your work is done when you come up with a great message for the receiver like you did!
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Tree of Life Cross Stich on: December 13, 2010 05:07:24 PM
That's an astonishing effort Elliot_Anne - I'm sure the fact that you had to get it done by Christmas for your mother in law helped drive you on!  Celtic artwork can provide a huge range of inspiration from knotwork, dragons, crosses, trinities and more.  As you've shown us though they can be pretty tricky to implement if you choose a more complex design.
