35  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Re: Swap partner's overseas on: December 31, 2010 06:09:50 AM
I am used to sending/receiving package from foreign country...
I already had packagse from USA taking only one week to reach France, when others have taken 1 whole month. Most of the time, it takes about 2 weeks, not that much if you ask me! No more than inside European countries...

The worst I had was 2 months and a half... and it was only from UK!

Now, for a swap process, I think it will be complicated to have different deadlines...
Beside, overseas is a broad definition... It's probably the same thing for someone in the USA to send a parcel to UK or to Australia, but for me in France, it's pretty much the same to send in USA, UK or Australia!

Amazing covers!

I'm still wondering wether or not I'll get one... but really, the looks of it aren't appealing.
I'd love to see one book-like cover...

39  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Which brand of dye would you recommand? on: December 26, 2010 02:41:49 PM
Thanks! I think I'm going to give those a try.

The colors you get looks amazing (and so does your work).
40  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Discussion and Questions / Which brand of dye would you recommand? on: December 19, 2010 12:53:35 PM
Hello!

I'm more of a felter myself, but I've been trying my hand at dying wool. So far I've used whichever dyes I've been able to find at the local art store, but without much success (colors aren't the best).
So I'm now looking to buy 'good' dyes, but I'm puzzled with the brands... jacquard, ashford, landscapes, ... ?

So the question is : which brand would you recommand?

I'm looking for great colors and the easier to use, the better...
