I have used fleece as the backing and batting of a t-shirt quilt.  I am sure that the t-shirts and interfacing I used helped keep the fleece in shape, but it has held up great so far (5 years).  It is, however, amazingly heavy, and very hot.  Great for rooms with no or little heat, but completely unusable in three seasons.  I think fleece could be a nice textural element in a flannel quilt or would work great as just one layer of a quilt, as opposed to the two that I used.  Good luck!

That's a little vague.  Is there a specific quilt pattern you are trying to create?
