Interesting twist!

(Side note: I have vintage square coffee/tea cups... corner drinking it is!)

That resistor tiara is great!

I've been away for a while but stopped in just in time to find this challenge.  If putting new floors in doesn't take over my whole world I'll be working on something for this challenge!

(How will I out-do my challenge 1 tiara???)

Thanks everyone!  It's hard to say how long it took to make the hardware tiara, I did it in spurts in the car and at my in-laws after everyone else went to bed.  (I'm a night owl.)

I just made my second tiara... and again, while making it I was at my in-laws.  Curious trend...

My niece came with us, she's turning 16 this week.  She said she'd like a tiara to wear on her sixteenth birthday.  I happened to bring my leftover wire from the dollar store challenge to play with, so I went to the only area store that I thought might have beads--it was a Dollar Tree.  So for a few more dollars I got a couple of bracelets and a bead kit and put together a seaside themed tiara for her and thought I'd share.  I'd say this one took me about 3 hours, maybe a little longer to make this one.  Just wire and silver colored, white and green beads--some glass, some plastic.

Unfortunately I didn't think to use my close up focus, so the pictures aren't the clearest, but I think you'll get the idea.  Pale background:

We have "every day" cloth napkins--it'd be fun to find a way to pretty them up.

While I'm a big Halloween fan, I'd be game for a fall theme to be sure everyone feels welcome to participate.  (Of course for some parts of the world, fall is a long way off...)

ACK! people touch my hair everywhere i go. all i can think to make it stop is touch theirs back. especially if it's normal. then they'll realize how creepy/invasive that is.. lol

I love that--I'm gonna start!  I've always felt it was really inappropriate with how folks feel free to touch a pregnant woman's belly, I think I'll use that tactic then too!
