1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: my beloved patch pants years of work on: June 10, 2006 11:41:26 AM
Those are crazy! hehehe... The reflective patches, I thought you had put some sort of lights on your pants.
Pretty cool pants. Nice post.
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Monkey in Need of Friends on: June 10, 2006 11:36:22 AM
This is sort of, kind of craft related... hehehe. I decided it'd be fun to have a myspace page for one of my monkeys. Since I'm a fan of Craftser I thought I'd post an invitation for other crafters with myspace pages who'd like to become her friend.

Her name is Jolie Coeur. Smiley

5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Craft Community Questions on: May 18, 2006 04:01:37 PM
I came across two interesting topics today both conducting surveys.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=92316.0 - "What attracts you to Craftster? ect..."
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=84639.0 - "Why do you do crafts?"

They were really fascinating and insightful. It sparked me to think of my own questions. I'm curious to know...

1) Why do you buy handmade/craft items?

2) What do you think the crafting community is in need of?

These are not meant to be any sort of consumer related poll, but for my own personal interest and that of the Craftster community. I felt that these questions would expand on and contribute to the two forums mentioned above. Smiley
6  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Sock Monkeys! on: May 16, 2006 02:44:58 AM
Can't go wrong with sock monkeys!
AND they're addictive each one has its own personality...

7  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Laugh if you must on: May 16, 2006 02:38:14 AM
I'm laughing right now... that's great! Moms are the best!!
You know, I think it's only fair that if kids get to wear pig and duck costumes, we adults should too!!... cue Peter Pan...  Tongue

Can't wait to see the duck!  Wink

PS Can you envision next Halloween... family of pigs or ducks out trick-or-treating... hehehe

PSS Reminds me of when I played a flower (un fleur) in one of my mom's French plays. Guess it's a bonus to have a talented costume making mom who's also a teacher.
8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: ATC-along, everyone! **MAY'S theme is "EXPERIMENT". Post on Fridays!!! on: May 15, 2006 05:02:40 PM
Those are really neat... what a cool idea. Craftster never fails to impress me! I've never heard of ATC (artist trading cards). I'm going to have to jump on this wagon... they're too great.

Hehehe I have a few monkey ideas too! Oh this is going to be fun. I'm going to have to squeeze some time in now to make them.
9  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: Buying a Lot of Etsy Products... on: May 14, 2006 02:19:50 PM
I have some items on etsy... but they aren't 1920's themed.
