She is gorgeous.  I love all the details, hooves and harness.
My son heats pvc pipe and bends it to make bows and arrows - well not the arrows obviously - but the bows.  It works amazingly well.

Amazing what you can make with the simplest of things.  That turned out really well and thank you for showing us how it was done.

He is adorable.  He looks like a classic Punch and Judy Toby dog especially with his dear little ruff. Look forward to seeing the other projects.

I love that fabric and the style you have used shows it off perfectly. Yellow is my favourite colour too. I find it can be quite hard sometimes to find pretty yellow fabric. That dress looks so much fun.
988  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Blackwork map of Africa on: May 13, 2014 11:34:15 PM
Thank you so much everyone.  It is really great to read all your comments.
I should have warned that sewing on black aida really needs full sunlight or very very good artificial lighting as it can be hard to see the holes.  I used to wear a white apron so that I could see the white through the holes which made them show up better.
Having said which I did find one really big advantage to sewing in white on black.  I was half way through the second pass on a country when I realised that on the previous pass I had done one stitch out of place.  Angry
I really did not want to undo all the work to get back to it so I put it down and thought about it for a bit. And then took a black permanent felt-tip marker and painted out the offending stitch.  Roll Eyes
Now even I can't find where it was.   Smiley
