1  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / LIMBO / Re: Crochet Swimsuit Free Pattern on: July 02, 2015 01:57:01 PM
Very pretty. Can you actually wear it into water? My understanding has always been that these things sag a bit when wet and may become more revealing as a result  Embarrassed
2  Craft Swaps / ACTIVE SWAPS WHERE SIGN-UP PERIOD HAS CLOSED / Re: Setting the Miniature Scene Swap signups 6/5/15 - 6/12/15, sendouts 7/10/15 on: June 30, 2015 02:02:00 PM
Since I am short-sighted my eyesight is fine for close work - at least in good light. It is my clumsy fingers that let me down.
Enjoying learning so much new stuff.  At 62 I have just discovered the difference between raster and vector graphics.  I couldn't work out how to shrink pictures without losing the detail.  Wink

Beautiful. I love glow-in-the-dark thread (but  hate sewing with it)
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Military uniform to backpack. on: June 29, 2015 12:53:49 AM
What a lovely bag for your grandson to have. He must be so proud. And you too because you did a very good job of cutting the fabric to get the best out of it.  I know those tough fabrics are hard to sew but it will last forever.

I am finding this craft has a rather large learning curve to it.  Either that or my being sick has made my brain work not rightly...but I'm still plugging away Grin
Me too. Way outside my comfort zone, but it's so thrilling when something comes together and looks right.
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Wristlet made from an old necktie on: June 26, 2015 11:40:55 AM
I love the way you have kept the shape of the tie and used the point to make a flap. Very neat.
8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: The Wandry Room on: June 25, 2015 12:55:59 PM
Wonderful details, I particularly love the Fairy laundry powder. But I can't understand how normal size (if a little grubby Roll Eyes ) fingers can make such delicate things.
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Seriously 3D ATC - mini craft space on: June 25, 2015 12:51:31 PM
Beautiful. I am so amazed at the tiny pencils and paints and the scissors.  This is stunning.
