The writing and the deer: are they wax over drawings or are they all wax? They are lovely anyway.

The writing and the deer (might be a goat?) are charcoal sketches I did on the wood before applying and fusing the first layer of wax. there are many layers of wax fused over that as well.
Thanks for the compliment! Smiley

9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Help Make a Paper Mache Knockoff??? on: June 30, 2010 01:20:04 PM
So I have champagne taste on a beer budget...
I keep seeing this brand R.Pulvermacher Designs in all these high end boutiques where I live. I am desperate to learn a knockoff version of their paper mache pieces. One of the ladies at the store said they use wire forms to construct their trays, bowls and wastebaskets. I would looooove to know how to make something of that caliber. I already know decoupage very well, but I just don't know how to get the form and construction of these beautiful items. Has anyone seen this brand or know what I'm talking about??? Huh
I just want to make them as gifts b/c I can't afford a $245 bowl!!! Shocked
