Well, I bought a lovely wool / soy yarn is a wondeful shade. Finally found just the right pattern for it, started the project and found out that the yarn is now dicontinued. So sad!!!

Anyone happen to know where there might be a Patons outlet store? or have some secret stash of Patons SWS in natural denium they might be willing to part with???

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Chair Cozy on: November 23, 2011 11:32:18 AM
Hello fellow crocheters,

I was wondering if anyone has made chair cozies? My husband's office chair needs a cozy rather than being draped in towels etc. I am thinking of getting some old sheets and making fabirc yarn that would be washable, confy to sit on and not too costly. Any other suggestions or photos for inspiration??

Happy Holidays!
3  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / UpCycling Sweaters on: July 19, 2011 06:44:35 PM
Ok, I have now seen a couple different project for upcycling old sweaters, but I am worried about fraying, even after sewing hems, for things like throw pillows. I am about to get a sewing machine and am trying to choose which projects to try first.

Any suggestions? I don't really want to have to felt them, I want to keep that knitted look.
