Does anyone know of a retailer (online or in the Chicago area) that has a good supply of webbing /strapping, preferably cotton? I found a few online but they usually have limited colors.

Hi everyone, it's been so long since I posted here but I need some help from you crafty crafters, specifically those who sew. I was wondering if anyone knows the proper technique of lengthening/letting out a suit sleeve? I think I might be able to figure it out but I'd love some advice from people who have actually done it (or something similar) before.

(pretty sure that's the address, you might want to double check).. i sell a few things there and they're always looking for new consigners. or if you want to look around, they've always got freshly made goods from local chicagoans! and they've got art and art shows and classes...

i got sick of my ghetto cell phone, so i decided to whip out the spray paint once again and add some birds to the mix this time. previously my phone was army green (front) and hot pink (back). now it looks like this:

i'm pretty excited about these bags since i finally figured out how to seamlessly line bags- thanks to jordy! thankyouthankyou! i was quite pleased with the results. i threw some interfacing in there too, which really helped make the bags more sturdy than my initial construction method.



this is an orange corduroy bag with citrus-y lining. the best part about this one is that it turned out to be reversible! bonus..heh.

this one still needs a strap and a few adjustments..

i whipped up these simple mittens and added some fun images to make them not-so-plain. all i really had to do initially was cut out and sew a mitten shape. easy cheesy!

this is an adult pair... squid mittens. or squittens. why squid? who knows.

baby mittens for your little animal! there's a little padding under the pink fleece parts to make them look a little more paw-like.

hello all! this is my first post on craftster.. i love all the crazy and crafty things i've seen thus far. i wanted to post some pictures of bags i've made recently... do you have any suggestions for improvement? i know my stitching is still a little sloppy and basic..and can someone please explain how to make a good purse lining? (without a visible seam?)
