I use wire to wire a name and polymer clay to make a cake for my frd ask bday gift

The base is a Styrofoam wreath, i just use u-pins to make the ribbon into the shape

very pretty!  Is the entire wreath made of layers of ribbon or is there some kind of base under what we can see?
