What COULD the hole in the heart mean? Unrequited love? Heart-ache? Or simply a chain four instead of a magic circle? Lol

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Question about my blanket on: March 09, 2013 03:50:24 PM
I always have a few blankets on the go because I get sick of one and then go back to it (though, you can read my post about THAT blanket which changed size while I was gone...). It may be that you just need to take a break from this blankie for a bit, and when you come back, you will be refreshed?

You could do a round of SC to give a border and use that as the anchor for a variety of joining techniques eg picot/brides etc
You could also do a 'final round' of the granny pattern and join as you go with that one. I'm a fan of join as you go with the final round - it isn't as scary as it sounds.

The colors are gorgeous. I'm always jealous of rainbow colors - how do you do the rainbow effect?

8  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: How to find baby sizes on: February 03, 2013 06:51:12 PM
Lol. I'm in a similar position. All my friends are having babies and I am making cot-blankets... but never have any contact with children. I'm always going into The Baby Factory (baby store) with my blanket and putting it on their cots. Last time someone picked it up and looked for the pricetag! lol

While Wolfdreamer doens't have a specific 'skitty' pokemon, you might be able to put a skitty together from various other pokemon. Here is the link to Mew: http://wolfdreamer-oth.blogspot.co.nz/2009/06/mew-plushie.html
