i have a lot of time on my hands.
33  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / the kid who knits on the beach. on: August 07, 2005 03:55:29 PM
since i do not get tan at all and i always get salt water in my eyes i decided that knitting was a much safer beach activity. and so i knitted. and i just wanted a small purse. but i suppose i lost track of what i was doing.

my logic was, i know how to knit. and i know how to make purses. therefore, i know how to knit purses. it's lined and all that jazz.

i'm thinking....bookbag?
34  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / OH MAN. i almost forgot to add a clever attention-grabbing subject. on: August 07, 2005 03:50:55 PM
i'm going to england on wednesday. i know. don't be too jealous. and since i am uber siked, i decided to make a dress for tea at the ritz. since i simply don't have the patience for patterns and can't use them for the life of me, i looked around craftster for ideas (soooooo many talented geniuses round here.....). and thus, the result is this:

i like it a whole lot. and for my first attempt at clothing? it could have been worse.
i'm thinking a white ribbon for around the waist.
that's it.
hope you like it  Wink
35  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / save my soul. please&thankyou. on: April 14, 2005 12:56:24 PM
this may already be a question on here buttt...
is there anywhere i can buy wooden purse handles? online or something maybe? the one's i'm getting now cost about five bucks a pop and i feel like everytime i buy one, a small part of me dies. five dollars for handles. ::sob:: it's madness.
36  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / good gracious! and you thought she had died...... on: April 13, 2005 02:11:58 PM
sike. you probably didn't think i died. cause it's not like i post a lot. this is technically only my second post. but you all missed me terribly. admit it. don't be shy.

so. after a lot doing nothing and thinking about doing something, i finally uploaded pictures and here they are.

it's so saved by the bell. if this bag could talk, it would scream WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING MY ALARM GIVES OUT A WARNING....and so forth.

it feels good to have that. i love my grandma.

and what does one do with this new found flow of cash?

buy a record player of course...

that's all folks. tune in next time for more purses. maybe i'll even attempt a skirt. in which case i won't post it on this board. cause i know the ways of craftster. and that would be a no-no.

spliga! this will not work? help? please&thankyou?
37  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / so i balanced a lamp on my shoulder to take these pictures.... on: March 09, 2005 02:37:01 PM
so. well. i feel strange. actually. you know. posting. hmmm. first time ever. but i bet all you seasoned pros could smell that a mile away.

so, bags.

there's a huge market for them in high school. especially at a catholic school where they're the only interesting part of your everyday ensemble. and since the freshman girls get a new bag every two weeks, i should be in business for a while.

very vegas....

boring....but all the cool kids have em cause they 'totally look like they're from hollister!'. and they're only fifteen bucks.

blue? stripey?

homeroom girl: can you embroider? cause i want my initials...

me:  for two extra dollars i can teach myself how.....

i especially heart that one. seventy four cents for three yards of vinyl? heeeccckkyeesss Wink

so. that was it? the end. comments? please? thank you?
