1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Decked Out for Deathly Hallows Part II GALLERY! on: July 08, 2011 08:30:35 AM
This happens when the same link is used for different items; the pic on your page reverts to the first one chosen.  Now here's a way to get the correct pic on your wist you can do the following....

~* Right click on the pic of the item you want to wist.
~* Select Properties in the list.
~* Copy the Address (URL) that appears in the Properties window.
~* Use that address and go to that page (I paste it in my search box)
~* The address will take you to a page with just a pic of the item you selected.
~* Wist away.

Now, this is all if you don't have the Craftster's Member Gallery link.  If you have that, you can wist the item directly from the upload of the pic they took.  (Of course if the member is anything like me, with a bajillion pics uploaded, the above my be quicker still.)

Does any of that make sense? Grin
Hope that helps.

I tried that and it didn't work, I also tried opening up the image in a new tab and then it wouldn't let me wist at all it said that the site crashed. There's so many things I want to wist! haha

These packages are just amazing!

Hey has anyone else had problems wisting? I couple times I would go through the whole process and the picture that showed up wasn't the picture I chose! I retried doing numerous times and it kept happening! Has anyone else run into this problem? If so how do I fix it?

Oh my goodness!! There are so many talented crafters here! Now that I'm no longer having swap anxiety/first swapper anxiety I can now look through the entire gallery!! Smiley  Where to begin?!?! You've all made amazing things!! I loved the "Burrow Sweet Burrow" sign, The Snatch the Snitch board game, Hermione's bag, the HP chess set, the Marauders Map tote, those handmade HP deck of cards and the baby Fawkes and Hedwig! And that's only the beginning!

I hope people post recipes! Especially Nycalison's Ton Tougne Toffee meets Cockroach Cluster and Baloo with her many treats! Smiley

This gallery is so inspiring! I can't wait to get working on recreating some of these crafts!

Alright fellow HP fans get ready to geek out on the amazing package I received from Audiana1.

First and foremost the nummies!! I got acid pops and Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans in this adorable crocheted pumpkin.

Next up Molly's favorite tea!! Perhaps it was the secret of her sanity while raising 7 kids!

Next up my very own prophecy contained in a vial in a well protected wooden box.

A letter from Atticus Flemming explaining why I got it in the first place. Here's what my prophecy was:
What you've read and what you've dreamed
You've imagined, but yet to see
The time draws near for one to live
You know his story, what he will give
Though happiness will surely come
'Tis bittersweet, when said and done
A thrill will fill you at the apex
And sadness follow: nothing comes next
Truth be told, you will be fine
As long as you open up your mind
To read those words, or watch again
It will never truly be the end.
(Which is so true! HP FOREVER <3)

A Weird Sisters shirt that Tonks herself would be jealous of.

And finely the most epicly amazing bag anyone has ever seen!!!

Everything is hand stitched!!! Amazing! Not only the wolf but all the wording. Including all the words stitched as the border and on the shoulder strap. It must have taken her tons of time and patience!

Audiana1 you are truly talented! I was so lucky to be paired with you!! Smiley My package is wonderful and I can't wait to show off everything. I had such a great experience for my first swap and can't wait to do it again! Smiley Thanks again Audiana1 for such an amazing package.

Ooooo I'm excited and nervous!! Sending out my package before I head off to work! I won't be able to send the DC number until later but it'll be on its way. Smiley

I think my patronus would be a wolf....or a platypus....hmmm maybe I need to think about it a bit more.

I'm still here I promise! I've just been super busy moving my stuff from school back home (4 hour drive each way). And since I've moved into my parents basement (still unsure how I feel about that) I've taken on spider hunting...so they are not in my room. Last night I had 3 kills and 2 catch and releases. Still collecting supplies for everything...but I think it's finally coming together Smiley Time to get my crafting on Wink

I get home tomorrow and then I finally can start! I have to work, but I'm glad my work is only 2 blocks away from one craft store and 5 blocks away from another....guess where I'm going on my breaks! Wink It'll be fun to actually take my ideas and actually start working on them!
