1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Blowin' in the Wind on: December 11, 2008 07:35:49 AM

how many roads must a man walk down
before you call him
a man
...
how many years can some people exist
before they're allowed
to be free
...
the answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
the answer is blowin' in the wind
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / If You're Feeling Sinister on: August 19, 2008 06:34:37 PM
New stuff...hope you enjoy.

I don't know why my pictures always look like crap when I put them on this website, but they're on my flickr account as well: http://flickr.com/photos/7618977@N03/
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Posting because I'm hoping lovely comments will assuage my inferiorty complex on: March 30, 2008 07:37:20 PM
The title pretty much explains it all.
One of my first tries at still life

It's kind of inspired by the "Hitchcock Blonde".
You know, in Alfred Hitchcock movies: Grace Kelly, Tippi Hedren, Ingrid Bergman, Janet Leigh...all in their cute little dresses but involved in some sort of sinister plot.
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Dirty Hippie on: December 24, 2007 07:20:29 AM

I'd like to answer a few comments in advance.
Yes, I understand the irony of a hippie wearing combat boots.
Yes, that is supposed to be a joint.
Yes, I know it looks nothing like one.

Oh, Happy Christmas.
5  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Back with more on: December 19, 2007 05:51:03 PM

And some bonus doodles:

7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Choir girls, Orphans, and Doorbells on: November 11, 2007 07:10:50 PM

Memento Mori
[Isadora and Duncan Quagmire (c) Lemony Snicket]

She's laughing like a choir girl
[When she doubles over sounds like hallelujah]

Practing Backgrounds

Oh and a special WIP for all you lovely people

[Can anyone tell who he is?]
8  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Peter and Wendy (WIP) on: October 08, 2007 10:30:39 PM
Just whipped this up around 2:00 this morning.
I'm planning to draw the nursery in the background.
Maybe a furious Tinkerbell evilly scheeming Wendy's death.
Hope nobody minds that it's not finished yet. I'll update on my progress.

EDIT:
Thought I'd add a close up of their faces, because you can't really see to much detail in the full view.

9  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / 2 skinny girls and a fairy [who is also skinny] on: August 28, 2007 07:51:50 AM
So.
I'm not exactly thrilled with these pictures.
But.
I figured they were halfway decent.
[And I really wanted to post something.]

Skinny [and emo] girl

Skinny girl [in an horrible position]

Skinny fairy [excust Xena Warrior Princess gear.]
:sigh:
10  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Thank You for Smoking on: June 10, 2007 07:49:03 PM
I've been doing alot of fashion design lately, and I'm taking a bit of a brake so I can refresh and improve my...I guess you'd call it cartoon...ing.
I usually draw my characters in very nondescript poses, you know them, the mundane, arms at the side, legs together, etc.
This time, I tried my hand at something else...it kind of developed into a squatting/sitting position.
I know it needs work, and it's going to take practice, but I'm rather proud of the attempt...so...be gentle.
