Thanks Susannab, it's the British Queen's diamond (60 years) jubilee as a queen.

After indulging in some amazing chocolate bought at the Bristol (UK) Chocolate Festival (yes, it was as good as it sounds:-) I turned the box into a British themed box to keep my paper/chipboard embellishments. Very pleased with how it turned out:

You're right! And it is very satisfying to make several cards in one sessions rather than only one which is how I was always doing it:-)

While staying with my mother-in-law in the UK for christmas last year I got these free 'Thank you' chipboards and they just happened to be in the same colour scheme as my the mini paper stash I keep at her place so I spent one heavenly evening on her living room floor with all my stuff sprawled out making a bunch of cards:

Love this! And so recognizable to have all these different images, pieces of paper, notes, letters and other bits and pieces that inspire you but they are now unkindly stuffed away in a box or drawer.

I started taping mine randomly into my journals and then as the mood comes I might alter them or add to them. Or I use them for cards and scrapbooking layouts. But making/binding my own book with them is definitily something I'd like to try some day. Thank you so much for sharing
