1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / My Birthday Present, a Zombie Geisha! on: February 10, 2011 04:06:50 PM
It was my birthday 2 weeks ago, and I requested a drawing from my sister's BF, because he is artsy and poor like myself. He has a tablet for his computer and does some very good stuff, usually bad-ass Nekos and the like. I suggested a zombie burlesque dancer or zombie geisha. The result is far better than I even imagined.

He's going to print it out on photo paper so I can frame it and display it PROUDLY in my house. I'm so lucky. He's also ridiculously modest, so I have taken the initiative and plastered it on Facebook and now Craftster Grin

4  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / True, true, true. Except for the Lies. on: November 21, 2010 10:09:05 PM
i'm a 25yr old queer female from the great white north, and i guess professionally i'm a preschool teacher, but mostly i just sit about making messes.
i'm a dabbler.
largely i paint with acrylics and do children's crafts (sometimes even with real children), but i've also been known to cheese around with paper mache, clayish substances, recyclables, old t-shirts, and the occasional plate of food.
this forum family is like a dream come true for me *sniff* *blubber* and i hope that we'll all become life long friends.

large love from the maple syrup rainbow!
