Hello Friend,

Many many thanks to sharing your information. A safety eye usually has two parts, the eye and the washer to fix the eye on the doll. For the sake of safety,

Thanks for Advance

Hello,

Thanks for your appropriate suggestion. I think I like them and mostly American Girl if you would like to buy a 18' doll you should buy American girl their the best. American girl dolls they are extremely adorable, but very expensive.

Thank you very much

6  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: Half Ball Buttons with teeth UK on: June 14, 2011 07:41:50 AM
Hi there,

That's quite a conundrum. I think you're right to want to put one on.

There absolutely no way I'd do it though. I am too concerned about what mothers who come round with there DCs might think. DS1 had a tendency to chew/suck all limbs of soft toys and toddle around with them hanging out of his mouth - I think soggy wool willy between teeth would have been too much for my visitors.

Regards,

 Hello guys,

Generally your doll will be looked the coolest doll at the beach with her neon tied striped swimsuit dresses, a matching cover-up skirt, bag and catching clogs, a matching handbag. It will be easy and well dress up your doll.

Thanks a lot

8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / American Girl Doll Measurements? on: June 01, 2011 03:08:30 AM
Hi craftsters...

Can anyone tell me the measurements of the American Girl Doll?

I need :
1. head circumference (for a hat)
2. leg circumference (for leggings) I read the length is 7"
3. waist circumference

I found a few patterns but they are all in WW and I want to use up some stash yarn .. sport weight.
Patterns links would be great as well I have been to knitting pattern central .. any others?

Thanks ..
- Dubem Jabilo.

9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: Dollhouse and miniatures on: May 25, 2011 07:53:24 AM
Hello friends,

I have been making dollhouses and miniatures for many years! I have two right now. One is huge and some of the pieces I paid over a hundred dollars.

I even worked for a place part time to learn how to make metal pots, pans, silverware, etc.

Do a google search for miniatures and dollhouses (be careful with "dollhouse" though as a lot of porn sights use that term).

You can also find items in local craft stores like AC Moore, but the quality isn't as good.

There are many books out there in hobby shops and libraries. I have made tons of stuff for mine.

There used to be a magazine called "Nutshell News" which showed how to make many items. I got a whole collection (about 100) at a garage sale two years ago.

You can also look on Craig's list to see if anyone is getting rid of their old collections. Dollhouses were very popular about 6 years ago.

As I said I worked for a company, we went to a convention in Chicago which was fantastic. There were hundreds of people there.

Good luck and Happy Miniaturing!

Thanks and regards,
- Dubem Jabilo.
10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: Online doll making classes? on: May 12, 2011 07:36:23 AM
Hello,
Related to online making of doll we can find additional information about the classes and fees through internet. Also, whether someone is a beginner, intermediate or advance doll maker, one should read the cloth Doll Magazine, to obtain more knowledge about it.

Thanks
