21  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: More help on Kittyville please! on: March 12, 2008 03:00:07 PM
I haven't knit that particular pattern, but I have knit a bunch of ear flap hats and usually the flaps aren't exactly in the middle, they lean more towards the front. The idea of compensating for those extra 12 stitches sounds good to me..
I say pick up the stitches and put it on to see if they seem like they're in a reasonable spot. Good luck, I'm sure it'll work out and look awesome! Cheesy

bespectacled> Awesome! What colour? I bought some from the clearance sale colours, but not for this project. I am planning on geting on this one in the next two weeks, that allows me time to finifh the projects that I have on the go and get it started for the Easter long-weekend! Cheesy

I bought a bunch of yarn in the heather-ish green colorway.. I totally forgot the name of it. Haha. Now I just need to order the pattern and pick a size.. Eegads, all the discussion on sizing everywhere has me worried. This'll be my first sweater, so I really wanna get it right :]
