1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Little squirrel on: February 24, 2013 04:32:22 PM
Hi everybody

This is my new paint...little squirrel.

The paint finish

and the drawing

The finished paint and the basic drawing which I made in photo assembly then work again on paper.
I made it with ink and with natural pigments.

One night I dreamed about a skeleton of mammoth in the blizzard it was the beginning of a new series of paintings. Animals are made by assembly of different skeletons and by photos.
For me these images are not sad or negative, they give me to smile, I do not know why, maybe because I made them in a "funny" state of mind  Wink.
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Painting gone to the Dogs - 3 dog "warm-up" paintings on: November 21, 2012 08:50:17 AM
It is really very beautiful. You knew how to give something there more which makes that a paint becomes the art.
The expressions are very good retranscribed and I like specially the first one which is original and not conventional... we do not often see the fangs of a dog.

I like very much. Bravo Grin
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Horizon on: November 21, 2012 08:33:41 AM
Hi

This is my new paint "Horizon" (100x100cm).

Completely realized with pigments, returning from a trip to the seaside
I wanted to retranscribe the passage between the sky and the sea.
I love the blue of this painting,, it is exactly the one there that I wanted to create.

I hope you enjoy.
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / The lamp sinner on: September 03, 2012 04:09:14 PM
Hi everyone

This is the lamp sinner :

Make lamps ... I find it magical ... with two small wire, you can create an atmosphere, a dream ... I could make hundreds.
Here is a small lamp with the wood floated (still) very simple to make but I adore ...

It reminds me the huts of the sinners at which I looked when I was small...

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: A tree as the ceiling light. on: June 21, 2012 07:25:34 AM
Thank you everyone.

It's been 1 year since I'm currently redoing my house and it's long ... I've not finished yet but soon I would put pictures of "before / after" and I will explain better all the furniture and installations that I made (with my boyfriend) with salvaged materials or not expensive.

Thank you again for your posts that gives me courage to continue. Grin

Thank U.

In fact, I don't like the orange ball too. I think that I going to put back  a normal bulb.
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Small lamps inspired by nature. on: June 21, 2012 07:06:01 AM
Small lamps inspired by nature.

It's very simple:
- A branch of driftwood mounted on the wall
- A small lampshade hanging by a thread
- An electric circuit from an extension lead where I fixed a bulb and a switch:

Everything wrapped around driftwood ...

maximum 2 hours of work
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Chinese light on: May 16, 2012 07:45:11 AM
Here is the result of my weekend: an attractive suspension with Chinese balls to decorate my corridor (I also made the electricity  Grin ).

For color I just painted the bulb with acrylic. Below the first version of the suspension. I prefer this one, I think I'll remove the orange bulb.
