Astounding! It looks exactly like the book! O_o
162  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Attempt #2 The Frog (Image Heavy) on: January 16, 2011 12:36:47 PM
I hear ya! I recently started dabbling with clay myself using makeshift tools - I didn't want to spend money on more craft stuff without knowing whether I'd be any good at it. I'm happy with my progress so far though (I've been reading some online tutorials for caning) so I think I might invest in a pasta machine soon in the hopes of making things easier for myself.
I think Herber is adorable btw, well done!

I'm not a knitter but I really love this! Thanks for the link to the bigger pictures too, that helped a lot.
I think the heart and bracelet are amazing too, but I have no clue how you did them. Do you have a tutorial for those 'stitches' as well?

Truly magical! I wish I could go inside it and explore!

This is adorable! I love that you used bits of fabric for her dress and valentine and it has a vintage look to it that I like. Things like this make me want to practice my embroidery more!
169  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Yesha, the incredible embroidered cat! on: January 01, 2011 03:32:34 PM
They're both beautiful! I too, am in awe of your embroidery skills - the stitching is so neat and I love all the details!

I literally squee'd when I saw these! I love them, and like the other posters said - the tutorial makes it look easy! Thank you for that! I'll definitely have to try to make some (and try not to put my eye out).  Wink
