Pattern: Rowan Pattern Book 28
Yarn: Cascade 220
Comments: The left back leg part of the pattern is incorrect. The two back pieces should be mirror images of eachother.

This isn't so much about X-mas - it's about CUTE tiny knitted
things. I think it will be fun to make a garland of knitted tinies
that are for year round, not December.

24  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Mock Cabled Scarf on: December 20, 2004 10:45:06 AM

I liked how this turned out - BUT for success... you need to slip the first stitch of every row. Otherwise the scarf will tend to spiral. The edges look SOOO much nicer with a slip stitch.

Cheers!

26  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Super cute fabric on: July 15, 2004 09:46:54 AM
http://www.munkimunki.com/

I LOVE this fabric!! You can buy it at Reprodepot.com - I wish I knew what to make with it...

I have way too many handbags. I was thinking of making a hanging closet zipper pocket thing for storing loose things like pantyhosse.

It would just require fabric and zippers and a hanger.
27  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Buckwheat Neck Roll on: July 11, 2004 02:01:47 PM
I made 4 of these this weekend: http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?type=content&styleType=tvradio&catid=cat17856&id=tvs6528

I didn't make the sleeve because I am actally going to use them for back support on the couch instead of for my head. My mom got the buckwheat hulls at a Grainery - that was a lot cheaper than going on-line.

I got the fabric for free from the L.A. fashion district. It was a remnant the guy in the store offered me to use. It's nice decorator silk.
28  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitty Rosedale Cardigan on: June 30, 2004 02:02:11 PM
I finished my Rosedale Cardigan!

Here is the link to the pattern

I just realized that I didn't pick up stitches for the zipper/collar facing, but I didn't even notice it. It's loks great I think.

30  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Baggy capris - sailboat fabric on: May 12, 2004 10:29:07 PM
Tonight I finished my silly sailing pants. The idea came from seeing sailboats all over the clothes at Anthropologie, BUT of course Pacific Fabrics would never sell fabric that cool. So... I got this gaudy fabric and made capris. I think the red ribbon is the icing on the cake. I like them a lot and will wear them on my sailing vacation in June.

I used Butterick 3460 - and altered the pockets. Whee!!
