1  Yamamoto (from Bleach) in Needlework: Completed Projects by tskkmyhr on: January 17, 2011 05:00:56 PM
erm, hi! so, er, it's my first time posting here ^^ If this is in the wrong category or something, please tell me!
Anyways...so one of my friends was helping me with something, and I thought I should probably make a thank you gifts or something along those lines...his favorite character from Bleach (it's a manga/anime) is Yamamoto, and I saw some pretty awesome embroidery here on this site and thought I would try it out Cheesy It turned out harder than I expected, and I now have a very healthy respect for anyone who can embroider at all ^^ I had to dig up some needle and thread from the bottom of my closet, and I cut up an old clean t-shirt...and I sort of just winged it. All I know about sewing is the running stitch I learned in kindergarten, so I did something sort of weird to get all the lines filled in (er, it's sort of like, you start with a running stitch and then double back and do a running stitch over it to fill in the white spaces? I guess...). And the rest is colored in with colored pencils Cheesy eh, onto the pictures!

er, as you can probably see in the last picture, I stretched it out between two books (namely my Physics textbook and The Little Princess =.=) and I have no idea what to do with it next XD yeah, erm, how do you frame needlework? Should I back it on cardboard or something first? D: Yeah, completely clueless ^^; Also, now that I look at it, it looks sort of...plain? don't know XD if there's anything I can do with the boring white background...Help would be appreciated Cheesy along with comments and critique Smiley The needlework isn't all that great, I know XD oh, yeah, and the reference picture:
