1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Rainbow Bunting on: February 08, 2014 04:30:41 AM
I originally created this bunting for my baby daughters bedroom. I wanted her room to be full of colour so came up with the idea of rainbow bunting. I then decided to make one for my my friends daughter (which is pictured).

At the start of the bunting is a cloud with blue ribbon rain drops. The cloud even has a silver lining made with silver coloured thread.

At the end of the bunting is a pot of gold with a little pouch which there can be placed a gold coin from the tooth fairy.

2  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 82 ENTRIES / Classic Gingerbread House on: January 08, 2013 10:37:50 AM
This is my first ever attempt at making a gingerbread house and I am pretty happy with the result. I also made little gingerbread Christmas trees and gingerbread family too! We ate it on Christmas day and to my suprise it actually tasted as good as it looked! Now that I am a little more confident, next year I am going to be more adventurous!

9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: 2010 What is everyone planning to make for Christmas? on: November 15, 2010 06:51:27 AM
I have been super organised this year and have already done the bulk of my christmas shopping, but i want to craft a few small items to give that thoughtful touch to my gifts.

I have seen a number of recipes for cookies in a jar - I plan on making a christmas version of these halloween cookies:

I also plan on making some felt Christmas tree decorations and hiding them in my own handmade christmas crackers using toilet roll tubes  and wrapping paper.

And finally I also am planning on making some scrap fabric flower hair clips to give to all the girls in my family  Smiley
