32  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / nintendo DS case, that could easily be a wallet on: January 25, 2011 07:03:07 AM
I made this and LOVE IT!!!!!
it is off http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=304534.0
I did not do the straps and made some slight modifications, but I LOVE IT!
I bought a TON of this gorgeous light weight purple corduroy for a dollar a yard!!!!
I think with a couple of more mods it could be a great wallet!!!

I actually recently found some of his drawings, of some of his famous robots.
I wonder if it is too late... LOL
he actually recently asked me to make one of these fake beard that is crocheted/ hat things so I got that going for me Wink

40  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Two old Dell towers on: January 11, 2011 09:07:04 AM
awesome!
yes I have seen all sorts of cool stuff with the guts...
I love the idea of storage.
I had thought even maybe a storage bench, since i have two.  stuff like for video games or whatever could go inside and then a padded bench.
i have seen online a mini fridge made out of one, that looks really cool, but doubt i will do that...
