Thank you all; can't wait to try these out!

I made PaleAngelLex's No Knead Bread last night:

We made half of it into garlic bread for spaghetti last night and plan on having the rest with soup tonight.

I made Amc-'s sugar cookies, but forgot to take a picture. They turned out good, but they would have been much better if I owned a rolling pin. lol

I also made Amc-'s tuna casserole, and it turned out wonderfully. This is the first time I have succeded at making a good tuna casserole. The only thing I changed was the cheese, due to availability. I used piminto cheese spread inside the casserole and shredded cheddar on top of it. Yum!

If anyone wants one of my recipes, please pm me.
2  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Ga Ga for Grannies Granny Square Swap (Sign ups: 4/18 - 5/3, Send outs: 5/30/11) on: May 15, 2011 06:36:50 AM
After my son being sick...and after making multiple squares too small/too big...I now have 9 squares completely finished and two more that still need to be fixed. I was hoping to have 15 done by now, but things don't always go according to plan. Hopefully my son will allow me more time to work on these now that he's well. Just got to figure out a way to keep him away from the yarn.

Hello!

I had that problem too, my squares were coming out at 6.5 inches so I just put a row of double crochet around the edge to make up the difference. I hope that this is ok!

I really wouldn't worry about it babycakes. We have a great group of people participating!!!

I also worry that my partners won't like my squares because I am such a noobie!

I must return to happily hookin' my squares!

Have a good evening all!!

I've had the same issue...I could have sworn they measured right when I finished, but when I made an ACTUAL 7" square, I realized all the others were too small.

I've been dealing with a sick toddler the past week, so I haven't gotten nearly as much done as I'd hoped. I was going to have 14 done by now...one a day...but that hasn't quite worked out.
5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Goddess swap, anyone? on: April 24, 2011 10:07:11 AM
I'd love to do a goddess-related swap. However, I'm not sure about sculptures for me...but if it isn't restricted to sculptures, I'm sure I could do some sort of goddess craft.

I received from pinkleo today!

Everything Together:

Something Hard--Hardback "Complete Guide to Converting Knit Patterns to Crochet"
This is awesome since I can't knit...hate it when I find an awesome knitting pattern I can't use.

Something Funny--Grannies Gone Wild =]]

Something Local--Texas Bluebonnet

Something Related to the Letter 'M'--Market Bag
This is something I have too few of, and can never have enough of. Especially since they are so versatile.

Something Green--Dishcloths
I didn't tell her, but my kitchen's main color scheme is green. Perfect!

Something Dotted--Stitch Markers
Something I don't have any of =]

Something Recycled--Tshirt yarn
I love it! I sent recycled plastic bag yarn for this category...we had similar ideas.

Sender's Choice--Rainbow Yarn

I love the whole package! Thank you pinkleo!
