Thank you all; can't wait to try these out!

I made PaleAngelLex's No Knead Bread last night:

We made half of it into garlic bread for spaghetti last night and plan on having the rest with soup tonight.

I made Amc-'s sugar cookies, but forgot to take a picture. They turned out good, but they would have been much better if I owned a rolling pin. lol

I also made Amc-'s tuna casserole, and it turned out wonderfully. This is the first time I have succeded at making a good tuna casserole. The only thing I changed was the cheese, due to availability. I used piminto cheese spread inside the casserole and shredded cheddar on top of it. Yum!

If anyone wants one of my recipes, please pm me.

I received from pinkleo today!

Everything Together:

Something Hard--Hardback "Complete Guide to Converting Knit Patterns to Crochet"
This is awesome since I can't knit...hate it when I find an awesome knitting pattern I can't use.

Something Funny--Grannies Gone Wild =]]

Something Local--Texas Bluebonnet

Something Related to the Letter 'M'--Market Bag
This is something I have too few of, and can never have enough of. Especially since they are so versatile.

Something Green--Dishcloths
I didn't tell her, but my kitchen's main color scheme is green. Perfect!

Something Dotted--Stitch Markers
Something I don't have any of =]

Something Recycled--Tshirt yarn
I love it! I sent recycled plastic bag yarn for this category...we had similar ideas.

Sender's Choice--Rainbow Yarn

I love the whole package! Thank you pinkleo!

5  Scarf Pattern (First one I have written.) in Crochet: Completed Projects by Silver_McAdams on: December 30, 2010 02:44:42 PM

This is the first pattern I have written myself, so it may need some work. If you notice anything that needs to be changed, please let me know.

I used Red Heart Worsted Weight Yarn. You will need 3 colors for this pattern. I used an I hook, but I think a J or H will also work well.

With A, CH 20.
Row 1: SC in second CH and each CH across. CH 1, turn.
Row 2: SC first stitch. *Skip a stitch and SC & DC in next stitch.* Repeat from *to* across up to last stitch. SC in last stitch. CH 1, turn.
Row 3: SC first stitch. *Skip a stitch and SC & DC in next stitch.* Repeat from *to* across up to last stitch. SC in last stitch, changing color to B halfway through stitch. CH 1, turn.
Row 4: DC in first stitch and each stitch across. Change color to C in last stitch. CH 1, turn.
Row 5: SC in first stitch and each stitch across. Change color to B in last stitch. CH 1, turn.
Row 6: DC in first stitch and each stitch across. Change color to A in last stitch. CH 1, turn.
Row 7: SC first stitch. *Skip a stitch and SC & DC in next stitch.* Repeat from *to* across up to last stitch. SC in last stitch. CH 1, turn.
Repeat Row 7 until desired length.
Finishing Row 1: SC first stitch. *Skip a stitch and SC & DC in next stitch.* Repeat from *to* across up to last stitch. SC in last stitch, changing color to B halfway through stitch. CH 1, turn.
Finishing Row 2: DC in first stitch and each stitch across. Change color to C in last stitch. CH 1, turn.
Finishing Row 3: SC in first stitch and each stitch across. Change color to B in last stitch. CH 1, turn.
Finishing Row 4: DC in first stitch and each stitch across. Change color to A in last stitch. CH 1, turn.
Finishing Row 5-6: SC first stitch. *Skip a stitch and SC & DC in next stitch.* Repeat from *to* across up to last stitch. SC in last stitch. CH 1, turn.
Finishing Row 7: SC in first stitch and each stitch across. Finish off.

If desired, SC around to give it a cleaner look. (Not shown in photos.)

6  Stocking in Crochet: Completed Projects by Silver_McAdams on: December 19, 2010 01:08:26 PM
This is going to be my son's first Christmas, so I decided to make him his first stocking. I fail at making socks, so I decided to go simple with it.

Originally, I was going to make this pattern: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/81061AD.html?r=1

However, I ended up making a couple changes and ended up with a cute elf-stocking. Its not terribly uniform, but I am pleased with it being my first attempt.
