I used a different gun than the one they suggested so I had to bring it with me to the hardware store to fit the different pieces to it. The guy thought I was insane/retarded but it was a learning experience...now I know what a "knurled nut" is.

Hehe, I totally relate! Whenever I go to home depot and I start asking people where stuff is they always ask me what is it for and I'm always reluctant to tell them because they always look at me like I'm crazy! And by the way your lamp turned out great. Smiley I picked up this issue of Reaymade and I think I might have to try it. I know my boyfriend would really love it. Thanks for posting it!

Lol I have been looking for a crush shirt so I can wear them together also. I got the crush soda from Ralphs (a supermarket) in case they have one in your area.

I just finished these. They are made with bottle caps and fire polished beads. I'd love to hear what you guys think. Smiley

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Happy Hour Fund Purse on: September 29, 2005 10:08:42 AM
When I bought the machine it came with a few pre-wound bobbins. I have been using those so far, but I figured my problems were due to the fact that I need a higher quallity bobbin thread. I plan on buying some today actually. Hopefully it will help with my tension woes. hehe

Sucks though now because my bobbin thread keeps breaking and I can't figure out why. Lol my boyfriend took some pics of me in my pjs trying to get it to work Tongue

I just bought a new embroidery machine and this is my first project that I have made with it. It's just a small lined coin purse. Hehe I definately need to get the tension thing down because it took me forever to do lol.

Is there anyway that you can post the stencils you used for that painting? I would really like do so something similar to that.

I don't have the pics anymore, but all I did was do a google picture search for nintendo. When I found the ones I like I printed them out and drew them onto the canvas. Smiley

I got my package from Jennickell today! Smiley

Everything is soo adorable. I love the little purses. She did such a great job on them. I've been trying to teach myself to crochet and, um, needless to say my stitches look nothing like that lol. I also received a lovely pair of earrings, a bracelet, some lip gloss, and some Rainbow Brite pins that are awesome! Thanks so much  Grin
