that is such an amazing idea ! I love everything about this . Ive actually been contemplating making a pin cushion  bra/bikini top for a while now . You have inspired Me to go for it !

Aww thanks so much!  It took a while to figure out how I was going to construct it but it worked!

The pin cushion itself was basically a hoop skirt made from strips of fabric and plastic tubing.  I then covered it with several layers of batting before covering it in the jersery fabric.  Then I attached the green trims and the strawberry - which doubles as a purse!  Finally I attached the ribbon waistband with elastic on the inside for extra security.
Once that was done I constructed the pins from styrofoam balls and wooden dowels (painted of course), thimble hat and needle staff.  I work in the garment industry so it obviously was well received at work Smiley Looking forward to topping it next time
