I received a beautiful card from Danni!! Mmmm, there are so many yummy recipes - I can't wait to give them all a try!

My cards are all made, stuffed, addressed, and stamped. I just need to swing by the postal box tomorrow and they shall be on their way!

I am totally loving that ATC and the peacock headdress! Absolutely lovely! And I adore those altoid tins and that stocking! What a wonderful start to the gallery! And definitely inspiring some swap anxiety on my part! lol!

The weather was much better today, and I was able to make it to the post office to send my package!! Yays!

Alas, I am going to have to send a day late. I stayed bundled up all weekend and ignored the snow storm that hit yesterday... But I forgot to take into account the unfun snow and crazy roads that are solid ice and my little car without snow tires... I attempted the journey, but after going two blocks, I quickly figured out that the post-office was beyond my skills for today.

Hopefully the plows will make things a bit easier in the morning - or at least I can borrow a parental's SUV. My snow driving skills are rather subpar. I am really sorry for the delay!

But the good news is, everything is packaged up and ready to ship!

Whoot! I finished my last small today! I have all of my items gathered up, and I concentrated too much on crafting the smalls - so I wasn't able to make a stocking. Not with my sewing machine on the fritz - I definitely didn't leave myself enough time to hand sew a stocking! I hope you don't mind a purchased stocking, Pixiefirefly, but I saw it and thought it was sooo lovely, so I hope you like it!

Tomorrow, I just need to take pictures of my items, then pack everything up, brave the snow and ship it out!! I hope you like everything! If anything is damaged or you don't like something, do let me know and I will gladly make something to replace it!!!

Found a cool Yule present to add to the shipment for my partner. Gotta box that up for sending Monday. I hope she likes everything!

I have one more small to work on tomorrow (a bit down to the wire, I know, but I hope it turns out well!), and I should be all ready to send out! On time too! Yay! I made a couple smalls and I am pleased with how they turned out! They are pretty fragile, though, so I am really worried with them making the cross-country trek! *crosses fingers*

Now I just need to get motivated and finish my cards for the card swap! ^_^

I can't believe people are almost ready to send! I feel so far behind! *chews on fingernails* Luckily, with the Turkey-day holiday here, I should have several days that I can devote entirely to craftiness - maybe I'll get caught up! ^_^

SecretAgentStarchil d is my usual username. Starchild is a nickname that a lot of my friends call me, 'cause I am obsessed with stars and whimsical things and growing up just ain't my style. ^_^ The Secret Agent part is because I would love to be a Secret Agent. Aside from the killing things and the guns and stuff... I would love to have disguises and have grand adventures with cool gadets and travel the world and be all sneaky and have an epic nemesis. If I was a Secret Agent, then Starchild would be my code name. Hehehehe. ^_^

I think that is a great alternative! As someone who hasn't made a card since the age of like six... The idea of making twelve cards is a challenge. Adding any more would make that challenge into a rather daunting task (especially, like Maman said, when one adds in the shipping!). But I would hate for anyone to miss out on the Yule card swap because they didn't make the first dozen sign-ups, especially cuz a lot of us kinda sent in our questionnaires way early. *sheepish grin*

I mean, I would love to receive twelve cards and help make twelve people smile... But if there are more than twelve people who want to participate, I like the idea of splitting us into two groups!
